PlaySonnov

About This Project

Sonnov has a large catalog, which makes it perfect for background listening but awkward to browse. PlaySonnov removes the choosing: one click in the menu bar and an album starts, from its first track to its last.

It reads the public Bandcamp pages directly, so there is no account, no server and nothing to configure.

What It Does

• Picks a random album and plays its tracks in order.
• Shows the album cover and the current track.
• Play/pause, next track and a shuffle button for a new random album.
• Opens the current album on Bandcamp.

Built With

Swift and SwiftUI, using a menu bar extra and AVFoundation for playback. macOS 13 or later.
